Although they would not meet until 1986 in Los Angeles, both Amy Sky and Brooklyn-born Marc Jordan grew up in Toronto. Amy began studying music at the early age of five, and went on to earn a degree in Music Theory and Composition at the U of T. By 1983, Amy was a staff songwriter for MCA, subsequently moving on to Warner-Chappell and EMI. She has written for many international artists, including Diana Ross, Anne Murray and Roch Voisine, and is also renown for her collaborations with Oliva Newton-John.
