It started as a casual exchange of emails and letters between two performers on the road... it evolved into He Said - She Said, a powerful musical collaboration chronicling the hopes, dreams and fears inherent in a budding and developing relationship. What sets this project aside, however, is synergistic charisma ... not only the interweaving ideas and emotions, smiles and eye contact, but the extraordinary interplay between the instruments, the complimentary yet so different vocals.

Peter Karp, who critics liken favourably to John Hiatt and John Prine, is a master songsmith with an art for spinning true-to-life emotions, humour, and candour into tunes that hit their mark with an economy of words. Ottawa native Sue Foley, having shared the stage with blues legends such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and John Lee Hooker earlier in her 27-plus-year career, is now considered one of the finest blues/roots artists working today, an idea well-supported by her dozen and more Maple Blues Awards.
